Jonnyboyevil created the sevendaysofnight project in 2006 when he abandoned the search for like minded musicians to form a band and decided to go it alone. Jon recorded a handful of rough demos to define the 'bands' sound. Following positive feedback for these original tracks sevendaysofnight was officially born and work began on the debut e.p. 'in darkness we unite'.
Shortly after the self-release of the e.p. it was added to net label Amduscia records catalogue and then the tracks were added to R.I.R's playlist in California. In the summer of 2007 the band featured as exciting new talent on Liverpool, England commercial radio station Juice fm. More plays have since followed and sevendaysofnight featured as the stations ones to watch 2008.
Since that time work on'Violence is Golden' has been gathering steam with more focus on production and the quality of sound than its predecessor.
